FAQs

Hello!

I’ve gotten several similar inquiries so in case these same questions are in the back of your mind, too, I wanted to answer them here:

1)  Are you accepting orders at your website?

Yes, we ARE taking orders!!  Also, all payment is currently being handled through PayPal.  If you need any help, please contact me.  I’m happy to walk you through it.

2)  What is the price range of your pieces?

$7.50 to $25.50.  Applicable shipping and taxes will be added to the total.

3)  Do you translate names?

Absolutely!  Keep in mind some names don’t translate to baybayin but so far, I’ve not had any problems. *knock on wood*  Let me know what names you need and I can tell you how I’m going to translate them before you order.

I do have completed pieces for sale but my first love is making a customized piece that is going to be meaningful to the wearer.  To know that someone is representing  their feelings, their spirit, their beliefs or a special moment …in something I’ve made…is an opportunity I feel blessed to have, especially when it’s a tangible way of sharing our heritage with others.

4)  What kind of beads do you use?

All my beads and pendants are exclusively from the Philippines, primarily from Cebu (where I was born!).  I work with bayong, kamagong, roble, rosewood and nangka wood.  Nothing I use is endangered.

5)  What kind of metal is used for your jewelry?

I only use sterling silver components in my jewelry.  I don’t want anyone to have to worry about skin sensitivity.  (I have it myself so the sterling silver allows me to wear my jewelry too!)

…And so completes my first installment of "FAQs Answered".  If I find there are more questions, more blogs will come. PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ALL INQUIRIES.  I am THRILLED to know you’re interested and it allows me to talk about my PASSION:  sharing our culture through baybayin.

Warmest regards,
Michelle
